RDA magnifies DG’s Financial, administrative powers
Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) overseeing body on Thursday improved monetary and regulatory powers of its Director General.
Aside from this, the RDA expanded the registration and renewal fees of enrolled town planner, architect, resident engineer, structure engineer and vetting structure engineer.
These decisions were taken at 53rd meeting of RDA Governing body with RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza in the chair.
He said the renewal and registration fee of town planner, architect, resident engineer, structure engineer and vetting structure engineer was also enhanced from Rs.300 to Rs.500 to Rs.15,000.
He further added that the renewal fee for the registered architecture was maximum Rs.1,200 only but we have increased to Rs.10,000.
The meeting also endorsed correction and upgrade of transfer fee schedule for RDA properties in different housing schemes, mad amendments to guideline of RDA building and drafting guidelines 2020 which allow for construction of apartment buildings on least 10 marla plot with specific constraints of height maximum up to 48 feet.
Speaking at the event, RDA Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza said that the city council would accelerate the advancement works and improve its working so individuals could get an advantage from this.
