LDA finalizes the recruiting process for Lahore Master Plan consultants
The final phase of the consultant recruitment process for the preparation of the Lahore Master Plan has been completed as the relevant subcommittee has completed the review of the technical proposals submitted by three shortlisted companies and submitted its report to the selection committee of consultants. The last stage of the recruitment process for a consultant for the preparation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050 was completed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). It was told at a meeting chaired by LDA DG Ahmed Aziz Tarar that a consortium of Dar-ul-Hindsa (Lebanon), Mine Heart (Singapore) and NESPAK (Pakistan) had been shortlisted for the preparation of the Lahore Master Plan, out of a total of seven. DG Ahmed Aziz Tarar said the new master plan will define the path of Lahore’s future growth. Therefore, our highest priority was to prepare the 2050 master plan in a straightforward manner. He added that the people of Lahore, academia, technical experts and other stakeholders were consulted for the first time before the development roadmap for Lahore was finalized over the next three decades.
