Today, Qazi Investments is here with big news for investors in Lahore Smart City that the LDA has approved the company’s technical NOC. Congratulations to you all! The technical NOC of Lahore Smart City for 2200 Kanal of Land was approved by the Lahore Development Authority. For the last six months, this approval process has been under way. Lahore Smart City is the project of Habib Rafiq Pvt Ltd, just like Capital Smart City, and is just as eagerly awaited as its Islamabad counterpart. In the past, rumors of illegitimacy have been discussed because there have been delays in the issuance of a Lahore Smart City NOC certificate. The land for this housing society has, however, recently been confirmed by the LDA. It was a fantastic news as it suggested that the approval of the Lahore Smart City NOC will soon follow. And it happened as Lahore Smart City NOC got approved. The NOC from LDA backs up the fact that the majority of the land acquisition is done for Lahore smart city and the society’s infrastructure is set to be developed within this land area.
Lahore smart City NOC is issued:
In February 2021, the NOC was approved by the LDA. A NOC, or a No-Objection Certificate, makes it very convenient for housing societies to provide services for their residents. You may be wondering why it is so important for a housing society to receive NOC approval. It is assigned to a plot of land by a government-appointed construction and development regulatory body. A Lahore Smart City NOC would therefore assist the project in gaining access to essential services such as water, gas and electricity. The leading municipal organization in the city of Lahore is the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). It works by providing top-notch public services through economic and social initiatives, as well as urban growth, horticultural work, and preservation of heritage sites to turn Lahore into a world-class city. Through the LDA Act of 1975, the organization was created. Three wings were expected to operate: Urban Planning, WASA, and TEPA. The first wing works, as the name implies, for strategic planning and urban development. The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) is responsible for the preparation and distribution of the supply of water, as well as sewage and drainage installations. Finally, the Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency is responsible for the construction and maintenance of facilities for traffic and transport in the region. The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is the development agency responsible for issuing NOCs, meaning that the NOC update for Lahore Smart City is provided by LDA.
